Frederick J. Hanna Court Case

In the latest case against Hanna where a debtor alleges that the filing of a lawsuit violated her Federal rights and gave her emotional stress regarding her unpaid credit card debt, a jury returned a verdict in favor of Hanna. Now the Plaintiff is faced with having to pay Hanna’s attorney fees.

If people would spend the time effort and expense to retire their debts, that they spend to avoid them, they would not be the difficulty to begin with.

How much unnecessary stress was caused by this litigation? Perhaps the best way to avoid emotional turmoil when dealing with debt is to avoid purchases on credit if you cannot afford the payments or to make your payments on time and every month.

Frederick J Hanna tried to settle this case before going to court - settling would have saved this woman a lot of money - instead she wanted something for nothing

In the original post the comment that the debtor is now faced with paying Hanna's legal costs is wrong. Just read the ruling, it clearly states that the ruling indeed was with Hanna but nowhere does it state a monitary fine. Instead it states that the case was dismissed on its own merits.

Proof that individuals with lower iq's for the sake of cheap labor work for this bottom feeding lawyer.

Pay your minimum payments? How many of the debt collectors in this office are in collection themselves? In this economy making that statement is uneducated prancing. Kharma is an evil mistress folks.

What about all the other past and present FDCPA/FCRA lawsuits pending aganst Hanna? Did/will any of those get a defense verdict? Seems Hanna loses more than he wins. Wait till Chase pulls the plug.

After reading all these comments I was afraid to even call Hanna law firm, but I did and they worked out payment arrangments with me. $50 a month, which was better than what Capital One wanted me to pay monthly.

You and your firm are a bunch of scummy bottom feeders. You represent banks who got major bailouts and have questionable business practices like failing to disclose interest rates and tacking on all sort of possibly illegal fees.

Your staff is illiterate and fail to follow the Fair Debt Collection Practices and are uninformed about local and state laws of the consurmers they are calling.
